Higher colleges of Technology "HCT" has a well-established Environment health and safety management system "EHSMS" since 2016, which was approved by Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health Center "OSHAD" the competent authority within the emirate of Abu Dhabi. The EHS management system is also certified against the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 by accredited certification body. Is a proactive management system where all potential EHS hazards a risks are identified and managed to an ALARP level taking into consideration all sources/ factors that may introduce new hazards or increase the risk level. EHSMS is based on a hierarchy of documents, among them the operational control procedures that are designed to control the overall operation and activities within HCT.
