In cooperation with the National Commission for Education Culture & Science, the HCT launched the UNESCO Club for Gender Equality and Women Empowerment in 2018. It is the first program in the UAE to promote the country's leadership in empowering women, which supports gender balance at the level of national visions and strategies, as well as the efforts of the Emirates Council for Gender Balance.
